I'm not sure if it validates actually I am sure that it does not but it is working just as one would expect on my test machine... Did you want a solution using something besides simple HTML? It should function exactly the same in Dreamweaver as it would anywhere else. If this doesn't work then I guess I'm stumped about this request! Please stop sending me messages!!! In such a case you're usually better off just to use the tag and be done with it as most of those other tags simply become attributes of the tag. Anyway, I could bore us all with details but I won't. Rowsdower, I'm disappointed in the quality of work here. Albeit we're only working with HTML, and perhaps some Javascript to create a chat client, that doesn't mean you should set your room parameters to trendy just yet! Did you even think about validation and security? Here's an improvement, in addtion to HTML I used super leetEncoded java script libraries to open a socket ball joint via proxy. Run that bad boy.
